Be Patient With Me...

I know I haven't posted in forever...but right now my house is a mad mess of boxes and I'm moving as quickly as I can to get everything packed and ready. We are just days away from our BIG move. Whose brilliant idea was it to do this just days before Christmas?? :) And to top it off, the weather has decided to turn sour just in time to drive 1000 miles! I guess I've been so spoiled with the 60*F weather, clear skies, and good roads that I took it for granted.

As much as I don't enjoy the snow...I do get a good laugh at how EVERYTHING is closed when the forcast calls for it. (Snow being a skiff, maybe an inch, a small amount). Anyway...as our neighbour so appropriately noted in passing yesterday "I guess this is God's way of preparing you for Canada!" :) He's probably right. Personally though, I took it as a sign that I should head south and move somewhere with warmer weather.

Good luck Heather! I've had many people see the photos you took of Colin and I and request your information. I've been so sad to tell them you are moving! Good luck on the big move! It's very overwhelming but it will be worth it in the end!

Oh Heather, I have been watching the weather forcast and just been worried about you and your little family. I hope you get a break in the snow to load your truck and that you have a safe road ahead of you. BE CAREFUL!!! and take it slow. We will be praying for you guys to get there safely. So PLEASE post something to either your photo blog and or your personal blog ASAP so that we know you got there safe and sound. Love ya!
